The aim of these grants is to get students on Master's Degrees or Postgraduate programs into research. To do this, students will join research groups at the University, assisting in various research projects
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Students enrolled on an Official Master's Degree at the University and students enrolled on a Postgraduate program for the year in which the grant application is made are eligible for these grants. Student must also meet the specific conditions established in each call for applications.
ACTIVITIES
- These collaboration grants are mainly designed to support research-assisting activities; however, the activities must always further the student's training in this field.
- These activities must be undertaken within research groups that are fully recognized by the University, in Chairs or Institutes.
- Activities that support teaching or management tasks with no connection to research are not covered under the framework of these grants.
FIXED-TERM CALL FOR APPLICATION
Annual call for applications in which the number of collaboration grants for the corresponding academic year is announced.
OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATION
An open call for applications is announced each year for research collaboration grants linked to research projects with external funding or to the University's own projects. Lead researchers on projects with external funding or on the University's own projects must submit an application to the corresponding Vice-Rector in charge of research.

GRANTS FOR MASTER'S DEGREES AND ASSOCIATED RESEARCH INTERNSHIPS
Grants for Master's Degrees and associated research internships enable students to take part in externally funded projects or projects of strategic importance to the University, by becoming a member of the corresponding research team. These grants offer a larger sum than collaboration grants and require, in return, greater dedication and commitment from the student, insofar as is possible considering their other academic obligations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Students enrolled on an Official Master's Degree at the University during the year for which the grant application is made are eligible for these grants.
The student must also meet the specific conditions established in each call for applications.
ACTIVITIES
The activities performed on the Master's Degree internships associated with these grants must be mainly related to assisting research within research groups recognized by the University or in Chairs or Institutes, and must always aim to further the practical training of the student in this field.
DURATION:
The specific duration will be established in each call for applications, but will never exceed the length of the corresponding Master's Degree.

PRE-DOCTORATE CONTRACTS
The University offers pre-doctorate contracts for students enrolled on Doctorate programs at the University who take part in externally funded research projects or projects of strategic importance to the University.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Students enrolled on an Official Doctorate Program at Comillas Pontifical University during the year for which the application is made are eligible to apply for these contracts.
The specific conditions established in each call for applications must also be met.
ACTIVITIES
- The activities performed under these contracts will be mainly research based and must always aim to further the doctoral training of the student. Where appropriate, this may also include activities related to the presentation or publication of the research (organizing conferences and workshops, publications, etc.).
- These activities must always be undertaken within research groups that are fully recognized by the University, Chairs or Institutes.
- Under no circumstances will activities supporting management tasks with no connection to the research be included under these contracts. A maximum of 6 ECTS per year of tasks supporting teaching is permitted, and these tasks must always be performed under the guidance of a University lecturer.
DURATION:
The term of the contract will be that provided for under the corresponding labor regulations yet will never exceed the duration of the corresponding Doctorate program.
